MARVEL SPOTLIGHT #5 from August 1972. This higher grade bronze age Marvel issue is the very first appearance of the popular character Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze), and it also tells his Origin story.Ghost Rider goes on to a lengthy career (starring in many of his own successful solo comic book titles that followed over the years), as well as making multiple big budget movie appearances, starring Nicolas Cage in the leading role, as every comic book fan's favorite flaming-skulled motorcycle rider! This key comic's great cover and interior art is by fan-favorite bronze age artist, Mike Ploog, and it features a now classic cover image of the flaming-skulled Ghost Rider on his motorcycle. This attractive copy has been graded by CGC at an 8.0 with Off-White pages. This book presents really well for the given grade and these black covers are getting pretty hard to find this nice. (and these are scans of the actual book that you will receive). Thanks for looking, please see my other items for more vintage key comics.
